It has been a few days since my last post here, and you must be thinking: what has Stacey been doing that is more important than writing on her blog?
Well, I’ve been doing lots of different things, both related to cheese and not, but the most important time-consuming task has involved getting Taste of Cheese ready for the 2009 Gourmet Food and Wine Expo that starts this Thursday night at the Toronto Metro Convention Centre. The show is 4 days long and expects to see over 30,000 people walk through the doors! That’s a hell of a lot of people! We have been scrambling around finding things like table cloths, napkins, nice tasting trays, getting informational materials printed, choosing cheeses to sample… its like the work will never end! And this is all before the show even starts! Crazy!
I can only hope that we figure it all out by this Thursday!
